Scarification
Scarification removes accumulated thatch and some surface moss to open up the lawn. It is not suitable for every lawn at every time of year. We assess the grass and conditions before agreeing the intensity of work; the lawn can look thinner immediately afterwards.
Overseeding and patch repair
Where existing grass is sparse, preparation and overseeding may help rebuild coverage. Bare patches need an assessment of the underlying cause, including wear, shade and soil condition. Seed choice and preparation should suit the site and how the lawn is used.
A realistic renovation plan
Some lawns need gradual improvement rather than one intensive visit. Tell us about persistent waterlogging, heavy wear, shade or previous treatments. Where compaction or drainage needs separate attention, we will discuss that before promising a finish.
